Why it exists
Most pet questions have a simple numerical answer — how old is my dog in human years, how much should I feed them, what will this actually cost. We built the tools we wanted to use ourselves.
How the numbers work
Our calculators use published formulas: RER-based feeding maths, the 15 / 24 age curve, and typical US cost ranges. Every guide shows the formula so you can check our work. Where a range is genuinely wide — pet costs, for instance — we say so rather than pretending to a single tidy number.
What we are not
We are not veterinarians. The tools give estimates to help you plan and to ask better questions — your vet makes the diagnosis.
